Sludge Water Removal Application in Vietnamese Shrimp Farm

The HCP customer is located at Hue Province, in the middle of Vietnam, and is focusing on shrimp breeding. The HCP customer uses high-tech smart greenhouse farming in-stead of the other general outdoor farming. It is the most advanced technology of shrimp farming in Vietnam, and more efficient in shrimp growth.

The water quality management is the fundamental of aquaculture. It would be effect by residual food pellets, excrement, and shrimp shells remaining at bottom of pond. There-fore, it will produce Ammonia, Hydrogen Sulfide, and other toxic substances that are be-ing decomposed by microorganism, hence shrimp under the worsen water condition can be caused stress to the shrimps thus mortality and other diseases.

In the past due to the pond designed with buried pipelines and gravity flow design, the bottom cleaning process usually take one working day to clean the bottom sludge of shrimp pond, but the dirt still remain below . HCP Pump recommend the customer to use HCP IC-43B submersible dewatering pumps which take only 5 to 10 minutes to drain the sludge and to provide the best water quality solution in aquaculture.
