◎ Description：

Fish is one of Pingtung County' s specialties besides mangoes and pineapples. The fisheries agency encourages aquafarmers to implement photovoltaic devices for greener and more sustainable practices. Fangliao, Pingtung is one of the first to respond. The client built the solar panels on top of the ponds to prevent a rapid change in water quality caused by weather and protect the fish in Fangliao Township. He implemented 1~2 of HCP PUMP SA Series Submersible Stainless Steel Pump 50SA2.8A (0.75kW) to increase the oxygen level for the 15m-radius tiger grouper ponds. The daily water change and pumping needs are met with 10 HCP PUMP IC Series Submersible Dewatering Pump IC-610 (7.5kW). Both models can pair with the sacrificial anodes to prolong pump life. The energy-efficient HCP PUMP with the sacrificial anodes and solar panels helps aquaculture move toward a more sustainable future.
