Long distance sea water pumping application

The aquaculture ponds require to draw the sea water from over one kilometer to the facil-ity along the coastal area of Aquaculture industry. Hence, the traditional land pump used for the purpose is unavoidably subjected to prolonged and unprotected exposure to the sun, rain and wind along the beachside. Such pump will get rust easy, corrosion, and early damage.

In this case, the user was operating with other brand of 10 HP land pump, but the long-distance transportation led to lower water capacity. The client installed the 10HP HCP IC Series submersible dewatering pumps to replace the land pumps by f HCP professional team’s suggestion. As a result, a 10 % lesser running current helped to save up to 12% of electricity related costs.

In addition to the high-standard IP68 dust and water resistance feature, IC submersible dewatering pump can be installed with HCP patented Anti-corrosion (Patent of Republic of China NO. M542700) HCP Anode adopter with easy and quick replacement design. It will subsequently benefit with extended operation life base on regular replacement of the anodize.
